In the morning I need a quick, easy, portable and nutrient dense breakfast that will give me plenty of energy to last until the next time I get a chance to eat (See my blog post about being prepared). Everyone needs to find what works best in the A.M., especially if it’s a pre-workout meal. If you’re a smoothie person like me, definitely give this one a try!

½ cup 0% fat Greet yogurt
½ cup almond milk
1 scoop chocolate whey protein
6-8 frozen strawberries
1 small banana
1-2 tablespoons ground flax seed
Handful of ice cubes
